Henning Albrecht studied in Hamburg and Heidelberg. After completing his clerkship in Mosbach and Heidelberg and his doctorate at Heidelberg University, he joined the law firm in 1959. He retired from day-to-day business in 2007.
His focus was on private and public construction law, including development law and land law. He represented predominantly medium-sized companies and numerous cities and municipalities in the Rhine-Neckar Region. Of fundamental importance was his nationwide activity regarding questions of administrative and competition law related to the burn ban in accordance with planning law and contracts as well as the compulsory participation in public utility services.
Henning Albrecht was a member of the board of the bar association of Karlsruhe between 1972 and 1992. From 2002 until 2006, he was a member of the advisory board of the center for law and administrative sciences (Zentrum für Rechts- und Verwaltungswissenschaften) at the University of Cottbus.
